Support Your Local Camera Store is an initiative dedicated to celebrating and strengthening independent camera retailers that serve as the foundation of photography and videography communities. Backed by the Photographic Research Organization (PRO), which has supported independent camera stores since 1958, the program brings together retailers, manufacturers, creators, and consumers across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Costa Rica. By encouraging photographers and videographers to shop, learn, and connect locally, the initiative helps ensure that communities continue to benefit from the expertise, education, events, and personal relationships that only local camera stores can provide, keeping the art and craft of imaging vibrant for generations to come.
